The view from our hotel room made us feel like we were in France.
We took a ridiculous amount of pictures of the Eiffel Tower because it was just so amazing to BE there.
You'll thank us for editing down the number we decided to post.
A View To A Kill
And, finally, the requisite photo of us in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Now, onto Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe. He was a very humble man.
The Arc marks the end (or beginning depending on your orientation) of the famous Champs-Elysees.
Pam stands with the Champs-Elysees sprawled behind her. Then she stops on the Boulevard for a chocolat chaud (that's hot chocolate).
We ended Day One at a nice brasserie.
Where Kelly had champagne and escargot.
After dinner, we went back to the Eiffel Tower to see it lite up for the night. Very Romantic!!
Day Two is Cathedral Day. We began at Notre Dame, front and back.
The gargoyles are so cool. And the interior took our breathe away.
Not everyone has heard of Saint-Chappelle. It looks like a typical gothic cathedral from the outside.
And overwhelms you with the most impressive stained glass you've ever seen on the inside.
We walked by the Pompidou. We liked the view from the back much more than the front of the museum.
Day Three brought us to the Louvre for a short amount of time. Just enough to see France's crown jewels.
And, of course, the Louvre's most famous celebrity, Lady Mona Lisa.
Our guide book described Leon of Brusselles as the McDonald's of Mussels. Can't believe Kelly ate the whole thing!
Speaking of McDonald's, we didn't have one, but couldn't resist a picture of the Le Royal with Cheese. Eat your heart out, Vincent!
We adored the Metro and used it extensively to get around. And, no Reese Vacation would be complete without seeing a rainbow.
